Approach Annunciators

Description

These are all the annunciators related to the Approach flight phase. It will show the category of approach that the aircraft is capable of as well as the DH or MDA (if selected).


CAT 1

Displayed with white text. Tells the pilot that the aircraft is capable of CAT 1 approaches.

CAT 2

Displayed with white text. Tells the pilot that the aircraft is capable of CAT 2 approaches.

CAT 3

Displayed with white text. Tells the pilot that the aircraft is capable of CAT 3 approaches.

SINGLE

Displayed with white text. Tells the pilot that the aircraft is capable of CAT 3 approaches, with fail passive condition.

DUAL

Displayed with white text. Tells the pilot that the aircraft is capable of CAT 3 approaches, with fail operational condition.

MDA/MDH XXXX

Displayed in white text with blue numbers. Displays the minimum descent altitude or the minimum descent height that is inserted into the APPR PERF page in the MCDU.

DH XXXX

Displayed in white text with blue numbers. Displays the desicion height that is inserted into the APPR PERF page in the MCDU

NO DH

Displayed with white text. Displayed when MDA/MDH or DH is not inserted into the APPR PERF page of the MCDU.
